Who We Are

Aman-Tehreek (Movement of Peace) is a group of concerned students, activists, lawyers, academics and individuals from across the world working to collect funds for the growing number of Internally Displaced Persons of Swat valley in Pakistan. There will be a massive need for food, shelter, clothing and clean drinking water services for the survival of these internally displaced persons.

We are working with the following organizations who are present on the ground to meet the needs of the IDPs:

1. Civil Society Islamabad (CSI): A group of civil society and activists in Islamabad who are looking after refugee IDPs into Islamabad where there are no camps and service-provision. They are working alongside Concerned Citizens of Pakistan (CCP).

2. Global Peace Council: An organization run by Mr. Zia-u-ddin (of New York Time’s Documentary “Class Dismissed in Swat Valley)- an educationist and activist from Swat Valley. After fleeing Swat Valley he has temporarily settled in Peshawar to help the IDPs personally.
